The link below is from Army, one of my links on both satire and theology and thekingpin68. I just clicked on the link and this is what is stated:

Below is a controversial VW commercial:

From Scripture Jesus Christ is noted as eternal (John 8:58) and is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. (Revelation 22:13). Christ is God. Christ's resurrection from the dead and his overall support from historically based Scripture provides him with a huge edge in the credibility department.

Avatar Adi Da Samraj claims to be the supremely great spiritual being. This is a false claim.

I do find these type of religious commercials interesting. The commercial overlooks the fact many world religions have such different views on the nature of God, that they could not reasonably be expecting the same final ultimate spiritual being. Christianity is not expecting another teacher to surpass Christ, as God cannot be surpassed.

Mahavishnu Orchestra from Syracuse, Skytop 1972

This band is one of the best electric artists of all-time and features primarily instrumental jazz-fusion. Concerning the little talk at the end, I am not in basic agreement. I think that by going deep within oneself with the highest ideal is not going to spiritually save or alter an individual enough to please God. Since we have sin, human beings need the assistance of an outside force, which is the eternal God through Christ for salvation. Romans 1-3 explains human corruption and need for salvation.

Contrary to what some Christians think, it is possible for Christians to appreciate music from artists with different world-views, while still disagreeing with those philosophies. Christians can guided by God and Scripture to know truth, and appreciate the good in things while recognizing there is error at the same time.
