I keep informing a friend that within the Western world, 'singles' is 35 years old plus. Do not expect
young adults to attend 'singles' events you sanction.
This is an ageist, presumptuous, group think, culture which generally lacks the serious consideration of intellectual, philosophical, subtleties. There are some people within that are exceptions.
If one wants to meet young adults, one needs to attend church events (and/or ministry events) as opposed to 'singles' events.
It is usually assumed by many within Christian ministry and within the Church that people of a similar age are at a similar point if life. Assumed often, when I listen, by the Boundless ministry with Focus on the Family, for example.
This risks using lazy thinking.
