Short Tuesday Bullets

 Short Tuesday Bullets

• I can sort of relate to the image...

• Friday, January 05, 2018 It's a miracle? (PhD Edit)

• A friend of mine today on Zoom, Sir Robin from Florida (originally England), a history teacher, told me (paraphrased) that I cannot help but state complex things when I teach philosophy of religion, because philosophy of religion has significant complexity.

• Sir Robin stated that I do not make something more complex than it needs to be.

• Complexity is a problem for anyone in complex academic fields, whether science, psychology, philosophy, theology, etcetera that attempts to explain his/her findings and views.

• The gospel here within a Christian worldview assists in particular...

• Ideas should be presented in both love and truth.

• New American Standard Bible (NASB)

• John 13:34-35  34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

• I John 4:20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

• Jesus Christ within the great commandment (Mathew 22, Mark 12, Luke 10), mentions that the second commandment is to love all persons as neighbours as one loves self. The first commandment to love of God with the fullness in mind and spirit.

• This is the God of the Hebrew Bible and New Testament.
