Twenty-Three Inch Arms?

Marvel

At Northview Community Church, this afternoon, my friend Kelly Burchert suggested, perhaps satirically (?) that I have 23 inch arms due to my (paraphrased) massive muscle frame. Twenty-three inches is doubtful as true, but thank you for that blessing my friend!

P.S. Kelly, obviously, like me, you are not politically correct as you did not use metric. This is Canada, eh...

The Inner Mounting Thug?

This made me laugh...I have to admit I thought Billy Cobham too, as in drumming style, but not as in the bad a** thug.

Quote:

'Dirty Harry is pretty easily my favorite movie and I have the soundtrack on CD in my car as I type this! ...There are few films whose score is as critical to the picture as this one. For a long time, I wondered if Billy Cobham played drums on it. In fact, the first time I saw the guy who Scorpio pays to beat him up, I did a double-take thinking it might be Billy! (It's not).' End quote.

The Inner Mounting Flame was released the same year as Dirty Harry, 1971.

NHL Expansion: Manitoba Mennonite Martyrs

"Bettman also announced plans for teams in Mumbai, Nairobi, Guatemala City, and a Labrador ghost town, all of which are seen to be the perfect fit for the NHL as they are estimated to have similar fan base to the southern US locales he seems to fetishize."

'Commissioner Garry Bettman was in southern Manitoba on Wednesday to announce the expansion of the NHL to Las Vegas, Nevada and also to the tiny Mennonite village of Neubergthal, just south of Altona.'

'“We figure they have a similar size fan base of hockey fans. Neubergthal has a population of just under a hundred people and, assuming they’re all hockey fans, means the franchise should outdraw the Las Vegas team by about thirty people per game,” explained Bettman standing in front of the Friesen Barn.'

'Bettman also announced plans for teams in Mumbai, Nairobi, Guatemala City, and a Labrador ghost town, all of which are seen to be the perfect fit for the NHL as they are estimated to have similar fan base to the southern US locales he seems to fetishize.

“Quebec City will never get a team,” explained Bettman. “Too many real hockey fans there.”'

Russ Murray The Mennonite community is an underdeveloped NHL market. I suggest the 'Manitoba Mennonite Martyrs' for a name.
