Psychologically disturbed?

This is anecdotal and philosophical deduction; not claiming to be scientific, but it is interesting relatively speaking, how many mental issues there seems to be among local Christian, older, young adults. I do not have a large social circle, but there seems to be many significant mental issues taking place.

I remember from a secular and definitely non-Christian perspective R Don Steele (a reference and not a psychological recommendation) stating (paraphrased) that one will find in particular, many psychologically disturbed people in singles groups.

From a Christian, biblical perspective, referencing Genesis 3, 1 Corinthians 7, it is at least reasonably possible that extended singleness significantly contributes to mental issues of older young adults that may be psychological disturbed.

Combine that with other factors such as bad relationship experience, romantic and otherwise.
And of course there is mental illness and other health issues.

Although not a psychologist, I do recommend prayer, significant biblical and theological study and consistent fellowship as remedy.
