Insanity & ISIS

But lack of ideological commitment has seen them hemorrhage workers

Up to now, kept trained engineers on side by threatening to murder families

But strategy is failing and they need someone to turn around profit slump'

Fatal accidents?

'Accidents'?

That could be due to very bad work place conditions, and/or it could be due to a very bad employer, as in a murderous one.

Lack of ideological commitment?

I can understand that being involved with an organization that reportedly according to the media beheads and kills many persons and their families that do not follow the party line would become to put it lightly...tiresome.

In reality to be involved with such an organization, again according to media reports, would be extremely sickening if someone does not have an extremely scarred conscience.

'Up to now, kept trained engineers on side by threatening to murder families'

One would potentially risk his/her own life and well-being and the lives and well-being of family by being involved with a terrorist organization.

The same can be stated for anyone that is involved in organized crime.

For the sake of financial gain.

Of course there is the disregard for the lives and well-being of others.

This demonstrates the insanity of a criminal, sinful mindset.

This is definitely and definitively a form of spiritual blindness and lack of common sense.

A mob stoned to death a suspected terrorist before burning his corpse and eating him in revenge for a series of attacks in Congo that have left 100 people dead.

Witnesses said the young man, who has not been identified, aroused suspicion on a bus in the north east of the country when passengers discovered he could not speak the local Swahili language and that he was carrying a machete.

Witnesses said he was then stoned to death by the crowd before his body was burned and eaten.

Speaking from the town of Beni, Congo's President Joseph Kabila said the ADF-NALU militants would face the same fate as the rebel movement M23, which was defeated by a UN-backed government offensive last year. Mr Kabila said: 'There is no question of negotiation with the terrorists. 'They will be defeated as was the case with the M23. And it will be very soon.'

This is not a Biblical method, obviously of dealing with a potential member of ISIS.

Evil is not to be returned for evil. Therefore evil should not be returned for supposed evil.

1 Peter 3:8-9 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 8 [a]To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit; 9 not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but [b]giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing.

A maintenance of law and order via Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2 would be reasonable on behalf of the State, the government.

But vigilante actions of citizens would not be Biblically acceptable which in reality are a form of anarchy and lawlessness.

Scarf Attack: Only In Football?

Munich: Facebook

'Bayern Munich were about to beat Hamburg and then this happened...'

'With the referee on the verge of calling time, a Hamburg fan stormed onto the pitch and appeared to slap Bayern star Franck Ribery in the face with his scarf and then taunted the Frenchman before being set upon by stewards. It was an unsavory end to what had been another wonderful performance by the German champions.'

More shenanigans from the world of football, and why does this international sport feature so much 'circus' entertainment?

Where is the increased security in this multi-billion dollar industry? Especially in Europe with UEFA where there the sport is the most economically powerful.

'Bill Cosby accused of sexual abuse for the second time'

I am not presenting an opinion on the legal case; in other words on guilt or innocence. I am dealing with the story theologically and philosophically.

Cited

'Barbara Bowman alleges that The Cosby Show actor sexually abused her when she was a teenager. She claims he used his position of power as a way of coercing and manipulating her as she set out to become an actress.

A spokesperson for Cosby could not be reached. Cosby has strongly denied previous accusations against him, which his attorney described as “preposterous” and “bizarre”. “I was drugged and raped by that man,” she tells MailOnline. “He is a monster. He came at me like a monster.'

One of the things taught to students where I completed my undergraduate degree was in regard to 'power position'.

That being a person in authority in a power position can use that power to exert sexual pressure potentially and other pressures on a person in the submissive position.

The College unfortunately had its own issue it had to deal with with a male professor soon removed.

Therefore, any kind of mentor-student relationship ethically and morally should be free of any force or coercion.

Biblically, any kind of Christian relationship should be based in a strong Biblical love (John 15).

'She continued to allege that he finally threw her out of her home that he subsidised and she moved back home with her family in Denver.'

Cited Bowman was one of 13 victims called to take to the witness stand in 2006 when Andrea Constand claimed that Cosby had drugged and assaulted her in his Philadelphia mansion in 2004 - allegations firmly denied by his lawyers. In 2006, Cosby settled the case with Constand.

The terms of the settlement remain undisclosed.

Again, I make no claims of guilt or innocence.

Red flags however, are 13 victims and an out of court settlement required.

Further thoughts

In both academia and corporate security, my fields of work experience, there are ethical restrictions, unofficial often, prohibiting fraternization with those that one may hold a power position over.

Therefore, if there is a relationship it must be free of any kind of force or coercion.

Six Phony Days Of Darkness

'Internet Hoax: Nasa announcement of 6 days total darkness on December caused by solar storm'

'According to the article by Huzlers.com, NASA has confirmed that the world will be enveloped in total darkness during a week in December due to a solar storm. The fake Huzlers story states that a massive solar storm will “not cause major damage to anything.” This, of course, would not be true of a solar storm, which could potentially bring down the entire power grid. That story is the resurgence of an end of the world “3 days of darkness” rumor which was tied to the end of the Mayan calendar.'

Or one could check the NASA website and see no mention of such a monumental story in the immediate headlines.

And if this darkness story was true, certainly it would be documented universally from credible sources.

Cited

'This news stirred netizens in different directions that the article garnered tens of thousands of likes and comments.'

In a related story the world security industry takes a huge sigh of relieve that it will not have to potentially pay its security officers overtime rates or danger pay for having to work in total darkness for six days straight.

Conditions of total darkness would be potentially more dangerous for security officers.

'Catastrophe' averted.

Cited

According to Scopes.com, the rumor has now taken many forms and the site intends to clear things. “No, the universe is not about to realign in December 2014, nor will there be a three-day blackout at that time during which the Earth will shift into a new dimension. Neither NASA nor any other credible scientific entity has made such a pronouncement. Ever,” “This item originated back in 2012, when interest in the belief that the Mayan calendar would end on 21 December 2012 (thus foretelling the end of the world as we know it) was running high, and it has simply been updated and recirculated with the year 2014 replacing the original references to 2012,” the site says.

Again, why would someone not simply check with the NASA site to see if this story was fact or fiction?

Or see fiction immediately...

Canada: The New Reality?

Very sad news in regard to the Canadian solider that lost his life Wednesday and the solider that lost his life on Monday.

My condolences.

'Terrorist' murdered soldier 'in cold blood,' Canada's Prime Minister says Cited '

(CNN) -- First a soldier guarding a hallowed war memorial was gunned down in Canada's capital. Then shots erupted in the halls of the country's Parliament minutes later. The two shootings in Ottawa Wednesday left lawmakers barricaded inside offices and parts of the city on lockdown for hours as police searched for suspects.'

'As authorities continued to investigate, details began to emerge about the man they suspect was behind the shooting. Michael Zehaf-Bibeau was identified by Canadian officials to their American counterparts as the suspected gunman, multiple U.S. officials told CNN. Bibeau, who was born in 1982, was a convert to Islam and had a history of drug use before he converted, two sources said. His passport had been confiscated by Canadian authorities when they learned he planned to go fight overseas, a U.S. law enforcement official told CNN's Susan Candiotti. The official said it was not clear when that happened. Canadian broadcaster CBC reported that Bibeau had a record of drug arrests going back 10 years.'

Other soldiers who were nearby doing drills at the time ran to help, he said.'

'Three people brought to The Ottawa Hospital after the shootings have been released, hospital spokeswoman Hazel Harding told CNN. Earlier, they were described as being in stable condition. Shortly after the shooting at the memorial, a gunman entered the nearby building on Parliament Hill, officials said. "I heard rapid fire -- gunshots going very loud -- and I figure maybe 20-plus shots within 10 seconds," Canadian Deputy House Leader Kevin Lamoureux told CNN. He was one level below the gunshots.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper said in an evening address that Canada would not be intimidated by Wednesday's "brutal and violent attack" in Ottawa, in which an armed attacker shot and fatally wounded a Canadian Forces member at the National War Memorial before being shot dead in Parliament's Centre Block.'

Moments after Cirillo was shot at his post by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, MPs and other witnesses reported 30 to 50 shots fired inside the main Parliament building. It was confirmed later that the gunman was shot dead inside the building, felled by the House of Commons sergeant-at-arms and RCMP, according to MPs' accounts.

CBC News has confirmed the dead shooting suspect is Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, a Canadian born in 1982. CBC News has learned that Zehaf-Bibeau has a criminal record in Quebec dating back 10 years on some drug-related charges. Court documents from that time show that he lived at an address in Montreal.

'In his brief address, Harper offered condolences for Cirillo's family, and for the family of Patrice Vincent, another soldier who was killed in an attack earlier this week. "For the second time this week, there has been a brutal and violent attack on our soil," he said.'

I do not have much of the political variety to state.

A sad day for the nation and for the Western world.

But if it turns out that this event or the one in Quebec on Monday is associated with radical Islam or ISIS/IS/ISIL; humbly I did state on my blogs that radical Islamists should not be allowed to reside in Western states and that Islamic, Sharia Law should not be permitted.

Instead there should be one law of the land (lands) in Western societies.

I will add early this morning that in my humble opinion, that if it turns out that radical Islam or IS was particularly involved in the Ottawa terrorist event, it is likely not good news for Islam in North America.

Islam will face more political and social scrutiny.

And yes, as I have written I realize that many Muslims view themselves as moderate although the concepts of jihad and holy war are part of Islamic teaching.

Lewis M. Hopfe admits that one of the most controversial aspects of Islam is 'Jihad' (Holy War). Hopfe (1987: 419). Pagans he writes may have been forced to convert but Jews and Christians and others were free to worship and they chose, Hopfe (1987: 419). It is admitted by Hopfe that there is a Muslim doctrine that one must do battle for God. Hopfe (1987: 419).

S.A. Nigosian states the goal of Jihad is not so much conversion but for Islam to gain 'political control over societies'. Nigosian (1994: 448). This is done in order to rule them under Islam. Nigosian (1994: 448).

HOPFE, LEWIS M. (1991) Religions of the World, New York, Macmillan Publishing Company.

NIGOSIAN, S.A. (1994) World Faiths, New York, St. Martin’s Press.

Philosophically, I doubt more scrutiny from secular governments and society will also shift to and focus on Christianity.

Most modern forms of Western Christianity would seem to have more in common worldview wise with secular views on democracy and toleration, than they would with radical Islam.

This even with Christianity and Islam sharing some conservative moral views.

Church-State Christianity largely being of distant history...

Therefore, more secular focus on radical Islam may, and I state may, mean there is less secular focus on Christianity as a possible political and social threat in Western society.

Please see comments sections in regard to difference between United States and other Western nations...
