With these last two 'chicken' posts, I need to seriously reconsider my life direction. Which is better, should I continue within reasonably successful academia and ministry? Or should I go for the 'big time' and open up that Chucky's Chicken franchise that I have told Chucky he should open for years? I can just imagine Chuck's Mennonite mug on a gigantic revolving bucket...

I awoke early this morning to prepare a raw fruit and vegetable breakfast and view Germany defeat Northern Ireland 1-0 via TSN and my laptop.

My BBC Predictor selection was 2-0 for Deutschland, and so therefore I received credit for correct result, but not exact score, which is worth forty points instead of ten points for a correct result.

Some of the British commentators were stating (paraphrased) that Germany, the FIFA World Champions, should be the favourites to win Euro 2016.

I went back to bed, sort of, strategically positioning my laptop to play TSN, so it was in my sight lines and I would be awakened by loud audio, such as with a goal with the next match.

Another important motive was that this next match would notify me that I should begin to prepare for an afternoon meeting I had with a pastor, I have a mobile alarm as well, of course.

I awake to hear that Spain has scored early in the match and some British commentators are stating (paraphrased) that the that two-time repeat UEFA European Champions are the class club and should win Euro 2016.

Confused?

My BBC Predictor score was 1-1. I thought Spain would approach the match a bit easier because they had already enough points to advance to the next round.

I left the laptop for more important things in life, as in preparing myself for the meeting.

I arrive back to my laptop and see that the score is now 1-1. I smirk and hope for the best...for me (selfish mode).

I leave for my meeting, which goes well and while in the parking lot preparing to head in the direction of home, I check my mobile WiFi and see that Spain had lost the match 2-1.

This is another philosophical lesson.

In this case British commentators being fooled by by football flair once again and making bold predictions before the match at hand, was even half completed. They were commenting on the superiority of Spain over every other club in the tournament.

Spain may or may not win Euro 2016. I can agree with professional commentators that they are one of the favourites.

But, flair in a part of football, but only a part. Defensive play is also very important as well as are other factors.

According to TSN, Spain the one-time World Cup champion and three-time Euro champion, as a result of the surprise loss to Croatia, did not win Group D. Spain will now in the next knockout round of 16 teams, face a certain four-time World Cup champion and one-time Euro champion, Italy.

So, exactly who are the clear favourites in that match?

I cannot provide certainty, as with BBC Predictor, my Euro 2016 score is presently 16/32 correct results with five exact scores.

As my friend Si from Manchester texted me the other day. 'There have been some upsets.'

There is much uncertainly in life.  Plans and predictions are upset, as God wills.

This news presents a dangerous intellectual move indeed. After all, from my years of attending evangelical Christian churches, in regard to worship music, each and every word, lyrically must be easy to understand.

This is the case for those in pre-school to the elderly. From the cradle to the grave.

The important salvific term, 'Jesus' must be easy to understand and if hypothetically the music became too abstract and the vocals too complicated, like with the Ride of the Valkyries, with those wine glass breaking opera singers, church attenders in the Western world could possibly become disorientated. These listeners could confuse the Son of God, the second member of the trinity, 'Jesus' with theological impostors such as 'Jessie' or 'Jerry' for example.

This would of course be cultic and satanic.

This theological confusion would still be a major danger even with the more complex lyrics presented in very large digital font on screen.

Based on my years of listening experience, my impression from evangelical worship music is that abstract Christian thinking should play (pardon the pun) no part in modern Christian worship music.

Abstract evangelical thinking should be left for theologians, philosophers, academics, weird intellectuals that administer Christian-focused academic websites and their equally weird readers, the Book of Revelation and its study, and people that read commentaries.

Worship leaders that are closet 'Rush' 'Mahavishu' or 'Tull' fans, or classically-trained child prodigies, should consider joining a world tour of modern classical music such as the possibly named, 'Chuckness Monster' tour and perform at secular venues or welcoming apostate, often empty, mainline churches, only.

'Croatia fans who caused trouble during their team's Euro 2016 match against the Czech Republic on Friday were "sports terrorists" and had no place in soccer stadiums, the Balkan nation's coach told a news conference.

The supporters threw flares on to the pitch and fought among themselves in one section of the Stade Geoffroy Guichard, forcing the Group D game to be interrupted for several minutes while officials and players appealed for calm.

"We were exposed to the terror of hooligans who have no place in sports arenas and I sincerely hope they will be identified and brought to justice," said coach Ante Cacic.

"They are terrorists, sports terrorists, a specific group. Unfortunately, they still exist and even enjoy some kind of support at home.'

UEFA said disciplinary proceedings would be opened on Saturday once they had received official reports from the match delegate and referee Mark Clattenburg.

Cacic blamed the Croatian government for being too lenient with soccer-related offenders and not doing enough to crush hooliganism, which has been rife in the former Yugoslav republic over the last decade.'

I viewed the end of this match and saw the incident.

'Sports terrorists' is an apt philosophical terminology.

I agree with the TSN commentators that stated UEFA is not responsible for controlling the hooliganism that has been going on outside of the stadiums during Euro 2016 in France, but UEFA should take more responsibility on what occurs with spectators inside the stadium.

Events outside the football stadiums are primarily the responsibility of law enforcement, especially French law enforcement with Euro 2016, but UEFA should not allow flares into a football stadium.

The French security forces should not allow flares into a football stadium.

Why does this still happen in 2016, after decades of football hooliganism and negative results, including bad press?

This is surprising from UEFA, the largest and most financially valuable football federation within FIFA.

The Phantom Meetings

Late night/this morning, after various work I headed to the downstairs part of the condominium from my upstairs area. A bonus is that this allows my Mother, that I homecare for, to know where I am.

Otherwise, dear Mother is often prone with her deafness to produce stories on my location and inform the government homecare workers that visit daily of these supposed meetings.

The Phantom meetings.

Late night/this morning Mother was viewing Camelot (1967) on television. I am not that interested in film musicals. If I view a musical, I would prefer it in a theatre (As with Annie, recently) where there is a stage and live music. It is both theatre and concert, as opposed to canned film music combined with filmed acting. Bur Richard Harris was a fine actor in the film and there were some interesting philosophical quotes:
