No pain, no Rogaine

Brief chat before the show by the three stooges....

Excellent time last evening in Vancouver, seeing Steve Hackett, former Genesis guitarist, perform Steve Hackett and Genesis tracks (from the Genesis progressive rock era), with his fine band.

Thank you to my good friend, Zombie for paying.

Thank you to my good friend, Chucky for driving (including driving over the barrier at the parking lot at a Tim Hortons, after the show, spilling my tea and terrifying poor Zombie in the back seat).

Thank you to Chuckles, for the excellent, private, back wall tickets. We were partially blinded by the stage lights throughout the show, but no pain, no Rogaine (Not my issue).

Chuck, I am proud of you sir, well-done wearing that cap everywhere now, to protect your dome from becoming too Red-Skullish.

A rowdy fan from the show shouted out 'Supper's Ready' for a song request. Mr. Hackett eventually rebuked the interruptions from the rowdies when he was attempting to introduce music, by using a form of the 'f' word in a serious and humourous way.

I hope we can do this again friends...

Interesting short television sermon

Video 1: I thought she did not look 'hulkish' enough to lift the weight in front. The deception, not a surprise.

Video 2: I thought I would give recording my 1990's  British computer football (one of four games) another attempt. Still not excellent video, but I played well. I have not received significant, video software updates. I am a maniac slide tackler...

Video 3: A relative views much MeTV, and working upstairs here, I could hear the sermon from a 1958, Wagon Train episode, which is at the 38: 30 mark approximately. Season 01 Episode 29 The Daniel Barrister Story.

A very religious husband reasons that medical assistance is of the devil, in regard to needed medical assistance for his wife. The medical doctor provides a reasonable short sermon (paraphrased) preaching, in part, against a person attempting to force one's religious views (or approach to Christianity) on another.

This fictional account does highlight the dangers of religious and Christian fundamentalism that assume without significant prayer, education and reflection with an open mind, that one's private theological interpretations are always superior to those that disagree; that in this fictional case are considered of the devil.

Again, in reality, we are all finite and sinful and should humbly consider that God can speak to others with truth, in various modes, including those in true biblical, Christian faith and philosophy that can assist us. As well, even at times those who have a false worldview can still present some true premises and conclusions.
