Thank you to Mr. James Lee. The Christian Church in western society should market itself effectively. However, this should be done without watering down the gospel message and core doctrines and theology. This Christian Church should be relatable to the public, but not a reflection of western society.

Biblically, there is one humanity (Genesis 1-3). Philosophically, I have found that people of all ethnic backgrounds are basically quite ontologically similar, when in similar cultures.

Fox News: With the use of science, yes climate change, pollution and the environment needs to be addressed effectively. But the everyday economy with common sense, also needs to be dealt with effectively.

The Guardian: From a British source, so not just American...(British friends).

MOSTLY FALSE: “ELECTRIC CARS GENERATE HIGHER EMISSIONS THAN DIESEL CARS”

We can conclude that the claim: ‘Electric cars generate higher emissions than diesel cars’ is mostly false. The German investigators have only compared two models: an electric Tesla Model 3 and a Mercedes C220d diesel car. Secondly, Buchal and his coworkers did an investigation in Germany and then generalized their claim. More than a third of the electricity in Germany is produced from lignite and charcoal, which are by far the largest emitters of CO2 among electricity producers. Finally, in the last few years, the electric cars have greatly evolved and so has the production of their batteries. The investigation of the German researchers is interesting but the information is not representative on a large scale and is also a bit obsolete. Therefore, this claim is mostly false. 

• I am not a trained scientist, but I am a trained academic. A bible of science from Oxford explains that which is empirical, and science that is empirical, is 'Denoting a result that is obtained by experiment or observation rather than from theory.' Oxford (287: 2010).

• In regard to climate science there is a noted consensus by many scientist and observers, but there is also room for terms such a 'mostly', 'interesting', 'bit obsolete', etcetera. In other words, there are philosophies of science and there is room for evolution within. There is room for intellectual, academic tension. Indeed there are theories, based on various empirical results.

Revelation over speculation

My response to a Twitter friend.

A response I provided to a Twitter friend that (paraphrased) stated that Abrahamic faiths can condemn those with different beliefs. I leave final judgement of others, post-mortem to God...

Those outside of Jesus Christ whose names are not in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3, Revelation) are ultimately judged by God (Revelation 20-22).

As I am a philosopher of religion, I enjoy and use speculation, but within my worldview, this is based on the final authority of the Hebrew Bible and New Testament and reasonable, contextual, Christian theology and related philosophical theology.

As finite and sinful, I am not qualified to speculate on the infinite, eternal God's plan and method of salvation at the expense of divine revelation within religious history.

At the same time, within Christianity, I reason there is at times overemphasis by some within the Church, in regard to secondary doctrines which separates believers in negativity. Christianity (those within) does not always demonstrate sufficient love to those with different worldviews.

I also, within Western democracy, accept the existence of various worldviews.
