'Being born again is something you don't do.' Bruce Gore, 22 minute mark forward. Gore begins a series on 1 Peter and notes that regeneration in Christ (1 Peter 1) (also John 3, Titus 3, my add) is a gift from God for belief. Gore also discusses predestination, justification and sanctification. At the end questions, Gore compares the biblical Kingdom of God versus Christendom, which is political.

'The end of the Age of Reason and beginning of the Age of Anti-Reason in the early 19th century saw the introduction of a variety of new theories as to the meaning of the book of Revelation. The most important voice in this movement was that of William Miller, who used a historicist approach mixed with the emotionalism of the Second Great Awakening to produce a precise calculation as to the time of Christ's return. While Miller eventually died disappointed, his contribution spawned a number of related movements that shared his conception but reworked his timetable. This lecture surveys this extraordinary moment in Christian history. For more free resources, please visit www.brucegore.com.'

Visual Capitalist: An interesting thing...

Visual Capitalist- Quote 'Incredible Map of Pangea With Modern-Day Borders'

An interesting thing is that based on Pangea forward, at least, British Columbia (BC) has been geographically, pretty isolated.

Short talks: Lordship Salvation

Short talks. I biblically side with free grace, as in the atoning and resurrection work of Christ (Romans, Galatians, Ephesians, Hebrews as examples) is applied to believers through being born again/regenerate (John 3, Titus 3, 1 Peter 1). One of my theology professors from TWU, Dr. Earl Radmacher was a member of this group, Grace Evangelical Society. He discussed this topic in Theology 1 and 2. Yes, Jesus is Lord, and from my theological perspective, a liberation free will decision of accepting Christ, does not cause salvation, rather what Christ does for a person as salvific, is provided by God alone and embraced by a believer.
