During a meeting today, a very intellectual friend with a secular Master's degree, really philosophically appreciated a recent definition I provided with my fallacies' review on my other Blogger website.

My friend opined that the 'shiny new fallacy' is used by some modern Christians that reason that he/she can define the bible and biblical theology in a superior way than did the biblical authors.
A mistake being that humanity is still sinful and that in contrast, the biblical writers were inspired by the Holy Spirit, within the Trinity, to write inerrant scripture.
