For clarity, I would add that this scripture implies that the brother (person for a modern context) mentioned has the ability to work. The aged and disabled are not meant here. This is also not including the unemployed between work, in a modern context. The verse is commenting against lazy, useless people. In verse 6, it is the brother that leads an unruly life. The King James Version: (KJV) mentions the 'disorderly' in verse 6. By the way, writing this website would be considered ministry work. |
