Public v Private talk

Metrofile: Vancouver

Things posted on social media publicly are up for public opine and debate. Private issues, even with unnamed persons, should be handled privately, if one wishes to keep such issues private. For example, we have Facebook posts and we have Facebook email. #Matthew18

NASA finds Mennonites on other planets?

'NASA Confirms the Existence of Mennonites on Other Planets'

'In a press conference earlier this morning, NASA scientists have answered a question that has plagued Anabaptists since the early days of the Reformation: “Are there Mennonites on other planets?” The answer, it seems, is a resounding “yes.”

“We have strong evidence that points to not only life on distant planets, but also the existence of thriving Mennonite communities,” said NASA spokesperson Loretta Rempel.

'...“Mennonites love to travel. One theory is that sometime after the Russian Revolution, a few fringe groups from the Molotschna Colony broke off and headed into outer space,” said Rempel.

“In their quest to flee from sin and the world, they must have felt that Paraguay or Mexico were simply not far enough away.”'

...NASA claims it will spend between two and three trillion dollars to launch a horse-and-buggy into outer space sometime later this year. It is hoped that the rather primitive shuttle will reach the planet within ten years, after which time they will overtake the colony and force them to abandon their way of life and learn English.'

Long distance charges apply

reddit.com

Besides in-person, Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley, Christian community socializing, I am also subscribed to a free Eastern European dating website.

I was informed today by one young lady (paraphrased) that long distance phone calls are acceptable and that Skype is not. In fact Skype is philosophically offensive to this one contact. This even though the long distance mobile phone calls, would cost (me alone, more than likely) thousands of dollars a year. I was informed more than once forcibly by this younger woman with a son, that Skype was not an option! She was offended that I mentioned it twice! This after she brought up the subject of phone calls, not me.

She appears semi-legitimate, at least, with photos with her son.

Paraphrased:

'Vwhat'? You expect me to buy a microphone and download Skype, for free. 'Vwell', you should pay thousands of dollars a year to talk to me on the 'vphone'.

I reason, 'financial test', on her part.

I reason, 'common sense test', on my part.
