High Plains questionable preacher

I prefer newer films for the technological advancements in film production, but I prefer classic films (usually) for theological and philosophical content.

New American Standard Bible

Romans 12:9-13

9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; [j]give preference to one another in honor; 11 not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, 13 contributing to the needs of the [k]saints, [l]practicing hospitality.

As that context is those in the Church, the practice of taking reasonable care of others also applies to those not necessarily in the Church. There is the classic New Testament story of the Good Samaritan as example from Luke 10.

High Plains Drifter (1973)

Cited

Preacher: See here, you can't turn all these people out into the night. It is inhuman, brother. Inhuman!

The Stranger: I'm not your brother.

Preacher: We are all brothers in the eyes of God.

The Stranger: All these people, are they your sisters and brothers?

Preacher: They most certainly are.

The Stranger: ...Then you won't mind if they come over and stay at your place, will ya?
