Leaving propositional truth? : kicktipp fifteen

Leaving propositional truth?

I recently had interaction with a Christian leader that opined (paraphrased) that with present evangelism in Canada, when dealing with millennials, generally there is significant difficulty in presenting propositions in regard to worldview. In other words, this approach did not compute with millennials today.

In contrast, I specialized in that approach with PhD/MPhil theses only degrees from the University of Wales in Theology/Philosophy of Religion. I embedded my own solution to the problem of evil and actually had to write empirical propositions for surveys for both degrees!

But I agree with his observation. As a general observation.

Working at the Canadian Bible Society (and also as a theology/philosophy of religion blogger), this type of approach is not in favour with most of western society, although it provides foundations for Christian faith and philosophy.

I am not willing to at all abandon a propositional approach, but can also understand that there is the need for practical evangelism and in fact I did focus on practical theology in my British work.
Four for four today with results, with one correct score. My totals bring me to 58%.
