News Alert

Marvel

If anyone in the Lower Mainland happens to see my black blazer in use over the next few days, in particular at a semi-professional choir performance on Thursday; please be aware it is absolutely, positively, not me wearing the blazer, it is another big bruiser, wearing the jacket, often confused as my brother by some church people.

(Even though he is of German-French decent, and I am of Irish-Swedish-Italian and Ukrainian decent.)

I would not be caught dead singing in a choir, although I can admit that this other big bruiser is supposedly and apparently a big deal having featured at Carnegie Hall in Manhattan and also in Germany. Not at the megastar level of Deeaan and An Jela's superstar daughter, but she is way more cute and much thinner.

She also, according to her Mother, like her Mother, was born tanned, whereas this other big bruiser would soon burn in the sun, please see image.

This big bruiser can be differentiated from me...

He is slightly taller.

He is 'softer' build wise, according to, and to quote Mr. Bobby Buff.

(In other words, he is fa**er, according to Mr. Buff)

He wears computer guy glasses in contrast to my philosophy guy glasses.

(I will leave you to 'figure' that out)

His forehead and dome are often reddish in the summer.

(My dome is covered by hair)

Thank you very much, please be aware and avoid any confusion. I will not not be performing a bass solo at any time...

More of a student than teacher

Facebook: Agreed.

James 3: 2

New Revised Standard Version (NRSV); 2 For we all make many mistakes, and if any one makes no mistakes in what he says he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.

New American Standard Bible (NASB): 2 For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body as well.

I am more of a student, than teacher. My finite and sinful nature (present nature 1 Corinthians 15, Revelation 21-22) make it rather straightforward for me to seek guidance and help from God and others.

Philosophically, living in a democracy, in the democratic 'western world' means there is reasonable freedom of speech. assembly and related, legally, in existence in these countries. Being potentially offended when one's views are critiqued is a reality of living in a democracy.

I suggest rather than focusing on hurt feelings and being offended; in contrast, consider developing premises and conclusions to support one's view. Otherwise, if one's views are not very defendable, perhaps consider changing one's views.
