Tablecloth theology

Continuing with clean-up and fixes after the professional new flooring, furniture and dishwasher; today I purchased a new tablecloth for our family dinner table.

This table is dated back to our move to Pitt Meadows as I was a child and probably back to my beginnings in Port Coquitlam.

The wood needs some re-polishing, so in the meantime I decided I would buy a good quality tablecloth for the table. The tablecloth is slightly over-sized in order to still cover the table if one or two of the extensions is added.

I need some expert to make the tablecloth look 'perfect', I admit.

I chose the most macho/masculine looking colour I could find which thankfully also appeared to be a very good material.
