I am no expert, but I doubt this is the way to sell football in North America

I am pleased to be able to watch football in the 'new den' but seeing the Frisco, football, fan, farce with the Gold Cup, I reason Costa Rica versus French Guinea at the Gold Cup is not the type of football match that would generally interest North Americans.

For football/soccer to grow to the point of being a major sport in North America, other than when the FIFA World Cup is played in North America, it will require at a club level, MLS clubs playing in serious competition versus UEFA clubs, perhaps in the UEFA Champions League or like. As for the Gold Cup, the participation of more top South American and European national teams would assist its popularity.

'Instead of a vinyl disc, Traubeck's record player uses a cross-section of a log or tree trunk, using light to translate the different colors and textures of the tree's rings into musical notes and instruments. Because every tree has its own unique configuration of rings, every tree has its own unique "song." Essentially, Traubeck has created a potentially unlimited library of "records."'
