I am a not baseball fan per say, but I watched game 7 and much of the series. I usually view some baseball playoffs, every year. It was good to see the Chicago Cubs win the World Series. This is a story of hope for those entities that finally achieve long-awaited goals. The Cubs were called lovable losers, but the Cubs were the biggest club in their market (more valuable than the White Sox, according to Forbes), in the third largest metropolitan area in the United States, for many years. The reason they likely have not won more World Series championships is management, until recently.
This historical episode makes me think of the Toronto Maple Leafs for some reason.
