Hitting the restaurant scene like Mr. L for a couple of nights...

Izba Bistro, Port Coquitlam, December 14.
Two nights in a row, my poor stomach takes a beating with delicious food. (Again, despite my kingpin frame, I have always been a small eater, low calorie person that exercises regularly).

This steak dish was very good.

I recommend Izba Bistro. I believe it was my first attempt at Polish-Canadian cuisine.

The previous night at Deutsches Haus (Vancouver Alpen Club), I believe it was my first attempt at German cuisine.

Also recommended, this establishment serves meat after meat after meat, that you had better eat....

I took some of it home and it was still excellent with mustard. This meal was courtesy my kind employer.

Although I cannot technically remember previously ever eating at German or Polish-Canadian cuisine, restaurants, my memory does not go back to earliest childhood.

Germanic cuisine was represented from my parents in my childhood, lunch and dinner cuisine.

I am full...

A group of us are back at Izba Bistro on the 21st.
