Under $10, 000

The carpeting and linoleum was tentatively purchased today, the sunroom excluded, which has a very strong floor that will receive some more good scrubbing.

The flooring being the most expensive part of this stage of renovations.

As noted in a previous entry, I purchased a matching reclining chair and a GE (General Electric) dishwasher for the kitchen. I already have a furnished loft where I live, but as the Boss is in hospital and will soon be in residence, I need to, for the sake of visitors, as in friends, work meetings, bible study (potentially) have a furnished living room. This is where the Boss used to receive home care. I am fine washing and drying dishes by hand, but as the original dishwasher, when we moved in, is broken, I cannot reasonably just leave a 'hole', so therefore I bought a new GE.

Thank you to my friendly neighbor Walter Thomas Franklin for the contacts and the offer of assistance with moving all the furniture and items.

Phase one of renovations is under $10, 000.

Phase two is significantly less important and down the road...
