Renovations: One

The surprise snowfall made moving my trash, most of it within the Boss's section of the condominium, much chillier. Frightful, not delightful, but snow does look nice.

We filled up the building garbage bin, but were greatly assisted by a likely bin diver taking much of what we had added, and this allowed us to fill the bin up again. Thank you very much. Perhaps my old furniture is at the local tent city, now. We also topped off all the paper recycle bins.
My dear Boss's former section, she now lives just down the road. The carpet took a beating from all the careworker visits and her walker. It would be much worse, but I would clean and scrub my hand, certain soiled areas every few weeks.

Bobby Buff was shocked I moved by myself my old metal, wood and vinyl reclining chair (the one that ate my last Samsung Android) two stories down stairs and then outside down stairs, on the side of the road for him and his Dad to pick up for the dump.

I told him to remember that he named me the Kingpin...
The floor in process. The most bizarre items left behind by the Boss were a pair of former shower doors and metal railings (???) from a previous home. I had no idea they were in storage under the stairs, and wondered why the heck they were kept.  Every room is receiving new flooring, apart from the sunroom which has a hard industrial like floor.

To be honest, with my years of academic work heading to a PhD,  and then pursuit of related employment, I 'punted' on some and much clean-up, until I knew the Boss would soon be placed in residence and am now paying the price. For example, my cabinet full of MPhil/PhD photocopies which I have featured on Dr. Russell Norman Murray (website) in the past; I wisely decided I would never use those and that they needed to be tossed. That was much work separating paper from plastic for recycling. It also featured two paper cuts until I put plastic gloves on...
