More of a student than teacher

I am more of a student, than teacher. My finite and sinful nature (present nature 1 Corinthians 15, Revelation 21-22) make it rather straightforward for me to seek guidance and help from God and others. 

Philosophically, living in a democracy, in the democratic 'western world' means there is reasonable freedom of speech. assembly and related, legally, in existence in these countries. Being potentially offended when one's views are critiqued is a reality of living in a democracy.

I suggest rather than focusing on hurt feelings and being offended; in contrast, consider developing premises and conclusions to support one's view. Otherwise, if one's views are not very defendable, perhaps consider changing one's views.
