Martial Arts Photos & Thoughts on Controversial Preaching

Salerno, Italia-Google Images

Update on July 9, 2013 with 1 Peter 3, I found this funny.

Photos from July 5, 2013

Controversial preaching section deleted with deleted video. I do not handle any kind of preaching with weapons...

My arm looks ripped...
I demonstrate I can strike both right and left handed.
Two minutes for high sticking.
Right hook punch.
Again.
Third time lucky?
Two minutes for elbowing.
Someone shall sing in falsettto.
Feeling unlucky punk?
Low kick or head stab?
Low kick or head strike?
Knee and jab

  1. And they'll know we are Christians by our taunts?
I question whether these preachers are truly motivated by love for the lost.

  2. I would not use such type of evangelism/preaching, although as probably where Jeff is coming from I totally support the rights of free speech.

    Happy Birthday to me...

    But there is wise speech.

  3. As far as the video, the point is, the American Constitution guarantees free speech. Homosexuals have been holding signs and demanding "equal rights" for years, as well as lobbying for rights. And yet, in this video, holding up signs and proclaiming what the Bible states leads to homosexuals physically assaulting the preacher.

"Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, NIV)

    The Bible clearly condemns homosexuality.

"We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers— and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me." (1 Timothy 1:8-11, NIV)

Since when does holding up a sign and preaching a message constitute someone coming up to you and beating you up?

Jesus said worse things to the Pharisees while He was here on earth.

  4. Back in 2008, a man and woman have had to go to court in California because they want to be recognized as married after officials rejected their marriage license because it listed "bride" and "groom" instead of "Party A" and "Party B." The state Supreme Court decision declared that legal definitions of marriage as a union between a man and a woman were unconstitutional. This shows the strength of the pro-homosexual lobby. This despite the fact that in 2002, a report from the Centers for Disease Control's National Center for Health Statistics revealed that only 2.3% of the population considers themselves homosexual. The statistics come from a National Survey of Family Growth and are based on 12,571 interviews with men and women ages 15-44 years of age. According to the survey, only 2.3% of the males surveyed considered themselves to be homosexuals and 1.8% considered themselves to be bisexuals. Why is it that 2.3% of the population has been getting laws passed giving them SPECIAL rights over 97-98% of the population?

Because of the homosexual lobbyists and political correctness, the general public has been brainwashed with idea that homosexuals are born that way (I have heard ex-homosexuals say that is not the case). But if some were born heterosexual and some were born homosexual, then it must also be true that some were born bisexual. In like manner, I would then contend that some must be born pedophiles. But oh, no, to say that gets people furious and ready to hang you! Why? Simply because homosexuality has been accepted by our politically-correct culture, but pedophilia has not yet been accepted. But I suspect that, if Shari'a law continues making the advances it has been here in the West, pedophilia may soon become politically correct and an accepted lifestyle, since Islam teaches marriage to girls who are still small children, and it is a common practice in Islamic countries.

Anyway, again in 2008, a Colorado law was introduced helping homosexual activists achieve their goal of forcing Christians to teach biblical condemnation of homosexuality only behind the closed doors of their sanctuaries. That law made it illegal to deny a person access to public accommodations, including restrooms and locker rooms, based on gender identity or the "perception" of gender identity. In effect, the Colorado state legislature and its governor made it fully legal for men to enter and use women's restrooms and locker-room facilities without notice or explanation.

That same law provides an exemption allowing religious groups to continue teaching (but only inside their doors) the Bible's condemnation of homosexuality. Under such a law, religious publishers could be accused for publishing biblical condemnation of homosexuality. The intent of the homosexual activists who put that law in was to marginalize the church and keep it inside the sanctuary.

  5. Model gay adoptive ‘fathers’ sexually abused 6-year-old for years: offered him to pedophile ring

From statistics back in 2008, 25% of white gays admitted to sex with boys 16 or younger as adults. In a 9-state study, 33% of the 181 male, and 22% of the 18 female teachers caught molesting students did so homosexually (though, at that point in time, less than 3% of men and 2% of women engaged in homosexuality).

  6. 'The Bible clearly condemns homosexuality.'

    Romans 1, 1 Corinthians 6, for example.

'Since when does holding up a sign and preaching a message constitute someone coming up to you and beating you up?'

    It should not.

However, as Uncle Saint Divine Chuckles of Ditch and I were discussing Friday night as he visited me upstairs in the condo here, we reason the United States in many ways seems even more radicalized on many moral and religious issues than Canada.

In this type of scenario it seems that even within rights because so many persons today do not think rationally about worldview and lifestyle that a confrontation rather than witness, preaching and related could occur.

This is what I mean in regard to the use of wise speech.

    Disturbing.

As far as the United Kingdom is concerned, one needs to be concerned for freedom of expression, doing or stating anything which may be deemed by the State to be against the (liberal) public interest.

    Talksport has discussed this issue.

    Thank you my friend.

  9. Many years ago, I went into an online chat forum for homosexuals, and I stated that homosexuality was a sin. Well, as soon as I said that, it was like a thousand angry hornets attacking me, stinging and biting, calling me every name in the book and making all sorts of accusations against me. Liberals tout tolerance, but they are quite intolerant. They accuse you of hate speech when you talk about God or sin, but they can be quite hateful.

On the other hand, one time I was at an outside town festival which was held on public streets with booths along each side of the street, and I was just walking down the street, handing out gospel tracts, merely asking each person if they had already received one, and handing them out. One lady came up to me, threatening me and telling me I was not allowed to do that (I later spoke to the ex-Mayor, and he said I was allowed). But instead of resisting, I merely said "OK," and I walked a little further on and began to hand them out again. If I had resisted or become confrontational, there might have been a problem.

There's a guy named Mark Cahill who has been going to the Gay Pride Festival each year and witnessing to homosexuals. He does it in a loving, conversational way, instead of in a confrontational way (and he does not yell, hold up signs or use loudspeakers). Here is a YouTube page showing a list of videos of him doing that:

YouTube Search: Mark Cahill: Pride Goes Before Destruction

If for some reason someone cannot view that list of videos, here is one of them, as an example:
Pride Before Destruction - Mark Cahill Witnessing. Pt 1

This is true of radical liberals. Yes, I agree, sir. This happened to me at Manchester University, please see my newest post on my other blog July 2013, Ebook in regard to my first PhD appointment, readers.

I will state I am a moderate conservative and that there are some moderate liberals that do read my work on Facebook and Blogger and do seem more reasonable. For example they follow and support me where many Christians will not.

Again, life is often not black and white.

The Star: Markham city council is wrong to maintain NHL arena secrecy: Editorial

    Quote:

'After all, what could go wrong? How could an arena fail in this hockey-mad nation, especially a venue designed to attract National Hockey League interest? (For the answer, look no further than the money-losing disappointment that is Hamilton’s Copps Coliseum.)
In fact, Markham’s proposed 20,000-seat arena carries immense risk. To put this size in context, it would hold roughly the same number of seats as Toronto’s Air Canada Centre, one of the busiest arenas in the world. Yet Markham’s prospects of luring an NHL franchise seem little more than wishful thinking.'

It will probably somewhat fail because Uncle Gary and the NHL will not put a team there because the Leafs do not want Southern Ontario competition, same reason Hamilton does not have a team and the League would rather place teams in inferior markets statistically such as Seattle and Las Vegas, simply because they are American.

There is the faint hope of the major national US television deal and the NHL becoming a national sport, and mainly just because most of the owners are American and they want more and more American hockey.

If I live in Markham, I have to oppose the arena as a tax payer, as it is too risky, although as a Canadian I hope somehow it can be financed privately in the slim hope a team can be found once the arena is had.

Of course, the dogs are also excited about their choices of costumes. My Pug Charlie is obsessed with Halloween costumes, so much so that he's insisted we take a poll to help him pick his Halloween costume..

  18. Jeff, thank you very much.

Horrible conduct by some in the pro-gay crowd.

Reasonable conduct, as far as trying to be peaceful by the two Christian protesters/evangelists.

Good work, it looked like from the Seattle police.

I stand by my previous comments, comments which I stated at my birthday 'fire' last night, for the most part I think this type of conflict evangelism is a waste of time doing more harm than good, although I maintain the rights, in the Western world for people to protest.

If someone did that type of protest in front of our church, I may engage them but I would not seek violence.

  23. Yes, now I have two full Google+ accounts, both entitled 'Russell Norman Murray'. I know it is confusing, blame Google.;)

I went along with it, so I could receive more 'Likes' and such with both blogs, and because I reason that Google/Blogger is going to eventually phase out the Google/Blogger Followers. As stated before I hope they merge the Google/Blogger Followers with the Google+ ones.

For example, the Google/Blogger Followers are only on Blogger blogs now and not on WordPress or other and so I figure I will lead with the Google+ Followers but of course I am keeping the Google/Blogger Followers on both blogs and yes God willing I will keep both blogs.

This blog tends to receive more traffic, the other tends to receive higher Technorati rank (more links).

I have been down to Seattle a few times this year already, more often than usual, other than that nothing is planned at this point, but I will go for work worldwide if called.:) I am looking.

    Pamper yourself too, Miss Winter.

I was handing out gospel tracts at a public festival similar to the one I mentioned previously (or maybe it was the same one; I don't remember for sure). One guy in one booth thanked and encouraged me for handing out gospel tracts, and said I was doing a good thing. Suddenly, 2-3 guys who were friends of a friend came walking down the street (Christians), one holding a big sign about going to Hell, the other loudly proclaiming that people need to repent or end up in Hell. I knew them, and the one guy gave me a hug when he saw me, but still, it made me uncomfortable to see them holding that huge sign and yelling warnings about Hell, even though I was also evangelizing by giving out tracts. What they were doing actually turned me off, and I would certainly not want to use that technique. I have seen some on YouTube using bullhorns, and I personally think that could be quite annoying to people walking by. People are offended by the gospel message naturally; we don't have to add to the offensiveness, I don't think.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yes, handing out tracts, which I have done a bit of is not as controversial as holding protest type signs.

    Cheers

  28. The Mail-My ordeal as Gadaffi's sex slave: Woman who was kept in a dungeon and used to satisfy brutal dictator

    July 7, 2013

This is no surprise from an Islamic dictator. There is an older similar story is regard to the Sultan of Brunei

    The Independent-Sultan 1997

That kind of unchecked power can sadly lead to rape and attempted rape.

    Back to main article:

    Quote:

'A personal account from one of Muammar Gaddafi’s former sex slaves published in the New York Post today sheds even more light on the strange and terrifying lifestyle of Libya’s former dictator.

Soraya was just 15 years old in April 2004 when she was handpicked by Gaddafi to become one of the many sex slaves in his harem.'

'This came as quite a shock to Soraya who, like many other Libyans, thought of Gadaffi as a feminist in many ways.'

'Secret sex slaves: Gaddafi was thought of as a feminist in Libya for some time because he started the all-female Amazonian guard, but many of them were actually kept as sex slaves'

My cynical satirical side told me when I initially viewed that he had female body guards that it very, very likely had something to do with sexual domination.

    Sure enough.

Reasonably, if the man wishes to be the dictator of his people, his nation, he is also going to dictate in his social circles as well, as this will include his sexuality.

It is a good thing he is gone from the scene.
