ReplyDeleteOne of the kind ladies wanted me to seemingly focus on 40 year olds.
I stated they are not excluded but not my priority. She stated I could adopt.
Again, that is a Western construct.
And I noted that I am adopted.
Why should I be forced to limit myself to 40 year olds that will not or cannot have children and then be forced to adopt when I am likely very capable biologically of having children?
I simply will not accept this.
It is not Biblical.
It is not philosophically necessarily.
It is wrong.
I can reason by pageviews the women that view me and frankly more are under 35 than over, but I reason due to social stigma, social and parental pressures, family and friend pressures they are often unwilling to acknowledge me, especially if from evangelical and fundamentalistic US backgrounds.
The fact more 40 year olds may be willing to actually date me does not mean it is rationally a good deal for me or that they are a better fit for me, in fact I find often that the 35+ age group has too much baggage and negativity in regard to men. I myself need someone more positive and uplifting, if not more extroverted and this quite possibly, might and I state might, be someone significantly younger.
Both the ladies that night and morning agreed it would be good for me to find someone I could teach my academic knowledge to and I agree with this greatly. Someone that would place more emphasis on this than the fact I have not found work with my degrees, how dumb etc.. This kind of person might very well, might I state again, be a significantly younger person that would read me on Blogger, Facebook and Google+. This could explain why most of my female followers are younger, even if unofficial.
A worldwide search might be needed as I live in secular BC.
As I noted in the lecture/talk I agree with the host that women need to initiate, especially if I have already tried and there is in reality secret mutual interest.
God has to be obeyed rather than man (Acts 5) and that includes with parents and family and church.
Otherwise one risks the displeasure of God.
If some kind of friendship or relationship is God's perfect plan then God will make it work and others, including those opposed will learn to live with it.
Pensioner's Holiday

gentleman peering in the shop window at the posters showing the glamorous destinations around the world.
The agent had had a good week and the dejected couple looking in the window gave him a rare feeling of generosity.
He called them into his shop,
"I know that on your pension you could never hope to have a great holiday, so I am sending you off to a fabulous resort at my expense and I won't take 'no' for an answer."
He took them inside and asked his secretary to arrange two flight tickets and book a room in a five star hotel."
Then, as can be expected, they gladly accepted, and were off!
About a month later the little old lady came in to his shop.
"And how did you like your holiday?" he asked eagerly.
"The flight was exciting and the room was lovely," she said. "I've come to thank you, but one thing puzzled me.
Who was that old bugger I had to share the room with?"
