Resolute Farm: I have no horse in this race |
I am Canadian, I have no horse in this US Presidential race. I did a test weeks ago, based on policy, on who I should vote for in 2016, I came up largely supporting Libertarian policies, a little Republican and not much Democrat.
If Trump wins, or loses in a close race, it is a sign to me that millions of Americans are fed up with the liberal elite politicians from both major parties that run the federal government.
Very non-exhaustively:
Basically, I would not vote for Clinton, because she represents the more worldly, populist, in a negative sense, party. Liberal-democrats typically winning the popularity contest in the western world, as opposed to certainly winning the truth contest. I will grant that liberal-democrats at times may do more socially for the public than do conservatives. I support 'the people' in that sense.
Basically, I would not vote for Trump, because of he is rather unpolitical in character, his negative statements on women and others that are not like him. Unless society drastically changes, I do not see the western political system significantly changing. So, for those conservatives that think Trump, if elected, is going to be a key for the change of politics and the law on certain key ethical and moral issues such as abortion on demand:
I seriously, doubt it.
