I just heard this news from Jon Courson's sermon from Wednesday, December 14.

‘He’ and ‘she’ are now ‘ze’ at Oxford'

'Students at Oxford have been told to use gender neutral pronouns such as “ze” rather than “he” or “she”.
The move, outlined in a students’ union leaflet, is intended to stop transgender students being offended. Deliberately using the wrong pronoun for a transgender person is an offence under Oxford’s behaviour code.
Students hope the use of gender neutral pronouns will be extended to lectures and seminars.'

In western democracy persons have gained social and political rights. If a person really demands to be called 'ze', I am not going to forcefully oppose them. I have better things to do as a believer of the gospel (Matthew 28: 19-20). I think this is the stronger New Testament model as opposed to a heavily politicized one.
However, as with many politically correct movements there is the risk that another, perhaps someone less progressive-minded and more conservative-minded, will prefer to be called 'he' or 'she' and not 'ze'. There is always a significant risk that someone will be offended.
